concerns and purpose of visit, highlighting how we are all living in difficult
times and that, it has become a
necessity, that we get back to reality. Dwelling on the grim reality of
unemployment and the inability of the Government to provide employment
opportunities for all, the Resource person shared some of his suggestions. That
a person should pursue Masters, if only, one is born for the subject, opt for competitive exams, only when one is
confident enough. He also stressed on the importance of knowing oneself,
thereby making one’s life worth living and also the advantages of acquiring
skills with market value, being self-supportive, emphasizing on dignity of
labour and preparing oneself for any kind of setbacks in life. The vote of
thanks was proposed by Ms. Talisenla, Convenor, Career Guidance & Counselling
Cell.
